On this day 10 years ago, the iPhone was announced. Google immediately canceled their current Android plans (up to that point it was a BlackBerry clone complete with physical keyboards) and now pretty much every phone is either an iPhone or iPhone clone. Best of all, cell phones stopped being shitty devices.
Quite the game (and life) changer

Amazingly detailed (and long) history of the development of the first iPhone. With all we know now, it’s really hard to imagine a time when none of this touch stuff, especially on a phone, even existed.

That’s crazy and to think i had the very first one. As i sit here and type this message on the iPad with a wireless keyboard.. crazy to see how fare things have come in just 10 years
