Evangelist Billy Graham Passed Away at 99
From Billy Graham’s son Franklin Graham
My father Billy Graham was once asked, “Where is Heaven?” He replied, “Heaven is where Jesus is and I am going to Him soon!” This morning, at the age of 99, he departed this world into eternal life in Heaven, prepared by the Lord Jesus Christ—the Savior of the world—whom he proclaimed for nearly 80 years.
He will be missed by our family, his colleagues, faithful ministry partners, and, yes, many around the world. But what joy he has to be welcomed by God the Father, and be reunited with my mother in the presence of Jesus who speaks peace to eternal souls.
What about you? When you depart this world do you know with certainty where you will spend eternity? You can know this today. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The One who comforts weary souls has given us this promise, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me … I go to prepare a place for you … I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).
Reactions to Billy Graham’s death: “He was the greatest evangelist who ever lived. Privately, he was the same man he was publicly, because he was so down to earth and so humble.” https://t.co/6ZtRgH6CAU

Tribute to Billy Graham by Chris Greenland
Billy Graham He has died … at the ripe very old age of 99.
The eulogies will be bursting with much praise and even adoration.
I have mixed feelings about the man. Certainly it was a good thing that he ratcheted up Christianity … and I am 100% certain that his intentions were good.
Problem was that, perhaps unintentionally, he converted Christianity into something of an ideology.
The simple message of peace, love and brotherhood, as espoused by Jesus Christ, was drummed up into a doctrinaire culture of righteousness, intolerance and exclusion.
This opened the door to what we now have … an evangelical mob riddled with what Jesus Christ referred to as “whited sepulchers”, all clean and white on the outside but rotten inside.
The evangelical belt is what got a bigoted buffoon to the position of President of the leading nation on this planet.
The central message that Jesus Christ gave us — “love thy neighbor as thyself, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you” has been obfuscated, blurred out, distorted, trampled upon and even discarded in this new “Evangelism” that has all but replaced Christianity.
Donald Trump is the epitome of just that. So I am very ambivalent about Billy Graham.
I am reminded of the saying that “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions” … as much as I believe that he will be accepted in Heaven.
More people are paying tribute to Billy Graham’s death on social media.
We will announce billy graham funeral as soon as we received information from the family.
