There are 3 steps that are important in your quest to Tap Into It, the pathway to your destiny. Step One: Change your pattern and get out of your routine! Move beyond your comfort zone! We often find ourselves in a state of complacency due to our own fears or thoughts of settling.
The enemy will plant seeds of doubt that can have a crippling effect on your walk thus causing you to fall into a pattern. That pattern then becomes your safe zone. God wants you to step out of your comfort zone and Tap Into your full potential.
Don’t settle for your normal pattern due to your own disbelief. Do you believe that God can satisfy your every need? Do you believe that he can do the miraculous in your life? I mean the exceedingly, abundantly? Ephesians 3:20 If so, let’s work on getting out of your daily pattern. Step out of your comfort zone today and totally rely on God.
TD Jakes Inspirational Messages
www.tdjakes.org The Potters House,
If you feel like you’ve been under construction, with debris, rubble and mess all around you, don’t worry, God is in control.
Could it be possible that God is using the enemy to demolish what needs to be torn down so He can resurrect what he has promised in your life?
There are some things in your life that have to be torn down, before you can be built back up on a solid more stable foundation. Some old things need to be disposed before you can walk in a new place.
There’s a sifting going on in your life right now, this process separates the wheat from the tare, the good from the bad. But hold on to your faith, your mess is progress! “…Behold, satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not…” (Luke 22:31-32).
Faith is not a Feeling
Are you operating from a place of Faith or a place of Feelings? If you’re operating from your feelings it will only make you miserable, you will be no more stable in your emotions than you are anchored in your faith. You have to know that God is for you, even when life seems like it has turned against you. All you have left to fight with is your faith. Even though you may be in a messy place right now and it may be painful & overwhelming, know that He’s working all things together for your good. So how do you survive the mess? You have to Change your Perspective! You cannot operate from the perspective of the mess, you have to operate from the perspective of the progress
Time is a Precious Commodity:
The most precious commodity that anyone of us possess is our time. We do not know how long our days will be, so we must have our feet on the ground of the present while having our backs warmed by the rays of the past and our eyes focused on the vision of the future. When we’re young, we often do not realize the true value of each hour in every day. We squander time, wandering here and there, feeling like we have all the time in the world to discover what the future holds. However, as we mature, we come to recognize that no matter how rich or poor we are, time on earth is more valuable than gold.
Bishop Jakes on Faith
Are you able to trust God in messy places? Do you have the faith to sustain you in the middle of a mess? When all hell is breaking loose, everything’s failing, glass is shattering, concrete is bursting, dust is flying, bricks knocked out of place, when you’re going thru a crisis are you able to stand in the middle of it all and say, LORD I Trust you! Hold on to your faith, Just Believe! No matter what mess you’re going thru, God is able to bring you out! “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.
I Will do a New Thing in You
God says “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; do you not perceive it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19) There are messy moments on the road to Destiny, you cannot have progress without mess. When you are in the process to progress, things get a little messy on the way to getting there. But when you get thru this mess, progress is waiting on you. Don’t let the mess fool you, don’t let the enemy distract you into thinking that the mess is all there is. Real ministry comes out of mishaps, messes, mayhem, sorrow and tragedy. God uses people who were broken, battered, tattered and torn to heal other people. So don’t give up, don’t be discouraged, God is making a message out of your mess!
TD Jakes Potters House Sermons
For every mighty problem in your life, there is a mighty rushing wind! Now, a normal wind can be blocked out. If you close the door and lock the windows, the wind just passes over without changing the building. But if the wind is a mighty rushing wind, it will blow down the door and break in the windows.
There is a gusty wind from the Lord that is too strong to be controlled. It will blow back the Red Sea. It will roll back the Jordan River. It will blow dry the wet, marshy, flooded lands as in the days of Noah. God’s wind is still ultra-effective against every current event in your life.
Bishop TD Jakes Quotes
Don’t allow your fears to place a limit on your ability to be all that God is calling you to be. He has great plans for you, plans to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
You are where you are today because you choose to be there. You did not Tap Into It. Don’t choose misery over ministry! What are you willing to sacrifice? You must be willing to change or else you will make yourself miserable. Make the right choice today so that you can Tap Into It and receive the Such and Such from God! The life that you are living today today may not be the life God has in store for you! Have you #TappedIntoIt? Choose change! Change your pattern TODAY!
TD Jakes Words of Encouragement
God will shut the door on some things in your life so you can’t go back to it. Thank God for the shut doors! Like the children of Israel, He will close the Red Sea so you can’t go back into bondage. He’s protecting you, so thank God for the friends that rejected you, for the people that said no, for the people who walked out on you. If you got stuck there, you would have missed your destiny. Every time God shuts a door that means he has something better for you! “What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” (Revelation 3:7)
