2018 Jesse Duplantis Daily Devotional and Word for Today

Jesse duplantis Daily Devotional

We should respect the way God speaks through words of knowledge, wisdom, and prophecy. But we should also realize that the Bible is the final authority for governing our lives. Even though a word may come from God and it may give you great encouragement or direction, we must understand that it’s still being relayed through a human being. And none of us is perfect. Knowing this, it’s natural for your mind to want to check it out.

God will often speak to your soul. Some people think that God doesn’t like our soul. They think God would prefer if we were like robots, but that is just not true. God loves the soul! He created it. And besides, it’s where the decision is made to accept salvation. God loves your mind, will, and emotions and just wants to see this vital part of who you are strong and healthy.
Without God’s presence and His principles for living, our mind is heavy and burdened, our will is either weak or pointed in the wrong direction, and our emotions are unbalanced and unstable. God knows that we can be this way, and He wants to help us have a good life. And you just can’t have that without a healthy soul. So He talks to you this way sometimes to help you out in life.

Jesse duplantis Ministries Quotes 1.

  1. What you feed your mind determines what your body will do on the inside. That’s why allowing God’s Word to abide in you is so important. If you constantly think, “I’m so sick and tired,” or “I’ll never get healed,” or “I’ll never be off drugs,” or “Nothing works for me,” or whatever, you’re not giving your mind any good direction. It will respond physically to that stuff. You’ll stay sick and tired, addicted and depressed. You’re not giving your mind anything to work with! How can you expect to receive anything with that mess confusing your faith?

2. The Bible is filled with teachings about human nature that can give you an edge in life. You don’t have to learn everything by experience. You don’t have to fall in a ditch to know it’s dirty. That’s why God gave us His Word.
Sure, some direction in the Bible is plain “do this and don’t do this” type of instruction. But a lot of direction comes in the form of life stories, like Judas. Through him, we learn that unrestrained weakness and rationalizing sin can steer you off course and destroy your life. Judas’ story is filled with lessons! Learn these life lessons in the Bible, and you won’t have to live them here.

3. Can you draw negativity into your life? Yes.
You can pave the way to misery. It’s easy. People do it all the time. Just let negativity consume your thoughts, then your words, and it will spill out into your life. You’ll draw in exactly what you really don’t want. Doubt builds upon doubt. Fear builds upon fear. Worry builds upon worry.
It all starts in your mind! What are you thinking? Start thinking God’s way!

If you’ve got self-esteem problems and look to others to fill you up with compliments, start focusing on loving God with all your heart, mind and soul. He’ll show you how to love yourself so that you can stop making other people and what they think about you a priority.

First Fruits Offering Jesse Duplantis

For people who aren’t already prospering in the world, spiritual prosperity will be the key to obtaining earthly prosperity.
Many people get aggravated about their situations.
They look down the road at their neighbor who is prospering like crazy and he doesn’t know God! Consequently, he’s doing everything in his own strength.
And he may be very successful at what he does.
He may have learned how to go out into the world and produce wealth. He’s working under natural law and, although he is becoming successful at it, there is no peace without Jesus and so it will amount to nothing in the end.
He’s not prospering spiritually, physically or financially.
He only has the financial prosperity, and without the Lord he’ll have a hard time making it last for very long. Remember that!

You are like beautiful stained glass. You have many facets to your own character and personality, but until the light of God is shining through you, people will never get to appreciate your amazing detail.

When the light of the Gospel starts shining through you, others will see your goodness light up!
You’ve inherited God’s ability for love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
It’s a fact! You may not feel that those characteristics are there, but they’re in you. It’s time to let God shine through you

Jesse Duplantis Close Encounters of the God Kind

A lot of people think they shouldn’t encounter problems when they stand in faith for their vision. But the Bible doesn’t promise us a problem-free life. Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper….” People read that scripture and misunderstand it, thinking it promises that no weapon will be formed against them. But that’s not what it says. It never said the weapon wouldn’t be formed; it said it wouldn’t prosper.
Why won’t it prosper? Because God gives you faith to shout it down and possess!

God loves you and He’s not looking for ways to send you to the fiery pit. He’s searching for ways to reach your heart––to help you––so that you live well on this earth and in the afterlife. God loved the disciples and He knew their human frailty. He knows your human frailty too. It’s time for you to start seeing through the devil’s lies because, once you start doing that, victory is on the way!

When you know what you are pursuing and when you know what is coming in your life, your days become faster and easier. Your mind has something to “faith” towards and look forward to. There are no surprises in that respect, because faith in the vision God gives you causes you to “know” in Whom you have “believed.” It brings confidence to your soul as you do the work necessary—spiritually, physically, and financially—that will bring your vision to pass.
Dreams and visions keep you prepared. Satan can’t sneak up on you when you’re ahead of Him all the time. Glory!

God will help you, if you let Him. He’ll help anyone who turns to Him. Remember that Jesus had a staff of twelve that most people would have fired the first week! Peter would cut you, cuss at you and then pray for you. Judas was stealing money, John was always laying his head on Jesus’ chest and Thomas didn’t believe half of what He said! Yet, Jesus stuck it out with them.
Even though they were misfits, Jesus taught them, and then, set them loose on the earth with a mission to win souls. Just reading about all the crazy things the disciples did in the Bible ought to prove to you that God is super-patient. He’s super-longsuffering! He can help anybody, including you.

Jesse duplantis Ministries Quotes 2.

God is always there for you. When you’re threatening to give up on Him and life, He’s there. When you want to hit someone, He’s there too! When you’re so distraught that you don’t know what to do and you’re bawling and squalling and having a pity party of one, He’s there waiting for you to turn to Him and do what His Word says so that He can help you straighten out the crooked paths of your life.

No matter where you are today, God can use you. He can open your eyes to what is exactly causing you to stumble and give you the strength to resist the devil––no matter what he’s trying to hurt you with.

The past is too heavy to be brought into the future. Your future is where you’re going—it’s not where you’ve been.
Your past keeps you thinking about yesterday, when yesterday is gone. If you keep thinking about what happened, nothing will happen for you.

Jesse duplantis Ministries Quotes 3.

Vision is very important to you and to God. Having a vision keeps you alive! In Proverbs 29:18, the Word tells us without vision, people perish—in other words they die inside when there is no goal or vision in their lives. People were created to be sustained by having a vision of something bigger than just “today.”
While Christ warned us not to worry about tomorrow, He encouraged us to be comforted by looking ahead to the good things God has in store for us—but most of all, He taught us to have faith. Vision requires faith, and it also makes life more enjoyable.

Even in a sin-state, when human beings combine imagination and a unified, focused effort, there is nothing they can’t do. Now, remember that as a believer, God is guiding your life because His Word is renewing your mind—so He has no intention of restraining you! He wants you to fulfill your destiny, so the closer you are to Him, the more you will envision for your life.

Jesse duplantis Ministries Quotes 4.

off the devil, he will leave you alone for a while. Sometimes long periods of time go by without any temptation at all.

Then he’ll sneak up and try and tempt you again. You’ll notice that the more you resist temptation, the easier it is to keep on resisting.

That rat won’t leave forever, but once you understand the system and apply the scriptures, you know what you have to do to be successful in resisting him. It’s called putting your spirit first place and your flesh last place. Of course, that takes effort. It’s not something that just happens. It’s a whole lot easier to get in the flesh.
Do you know why? Because you’ve got more practice being in the flesh.

It’s difficult to thrive when surrounded by people that mock God. It may be possible to survive in that environment, but you may never reach your greatest potential. Continually hanging with the wrong crowd will stunt your growth and rob you of the power to prosper.

You may know people like that. They may live in your house or work with you on the job. We’re called to love them, pray for them, and lead them to Jesus, but they should not be influencing our daily lives. Our blessed, thriving life should attract them to the Gospel. We’re blessed by the Creator; God! Our thriving, fruitful life and relationship with God should be a beacon of light to the world, guiding them to safety.
