DEATH OBITUARY : Rick Archer, Bicyclist In Back Bay Hit-And-Run Dies, Car Possibly Found

BOSTON (CBS) — The bicyclist who was struck by a car in the Back Bay over the weekend died early Tuesday, hours before police found a car that may be the one that hit him.

Rick Archer, 29, of South Boston, passed away two days after he was run down on Commonwealth Avenue.

People are paying tribute on social media.


My nephew Rick Archer . I watched you grow up to be a selfless and giving man. You have touched the lives of so many people and will continue to do so. I have always been and always will be so proud to be your Aunt. I love you so much and will always remember that wonderful smile that just Lights up the room.
