Fight Breaks Out at NYC Church Jolted by Pastor Daniel Iampaglia's Arrest

Congregants at an Upper East Side church got into an all-out shoving match Sunday and cops were called to the scene — after its controversial accused-thief pastor made a power play to remain at the helm.
The brawl at the evangelical Rock Church broke out just moments before Pastor Daniel Iampaglia — who was caught on camera allegedly pocketing cash from a collection basket — called a meeting to change the church’s bylaws to prevent his ouster, according to some congregants.
Three worshippers feuding with Iampaglia tried to push past a man standing guard at the entrance of the church on East 62nd Street and Lexington Avenue.
“Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” shouted the makeshift security guard, Floyd Johnson — a friend of the embattled preacher and a pastor himself at Brooklyn Tabernacle.
Johnson shoved back the churchgoers — Sue Cruz, Prasad Venigalla and Joseph McGee, who have demanded the reverend be ousted — but they eventually broke free and entered the church, where the meeting was taking place after services.
