Westboro Baptist Church plans Call Kim Davis a “proud, self-righteous hypocrite” and an “adulterer.”

The Westboro Baptist Church plans on visiting the home of Kim Davis on Monday. Davis is the Kentucky clerk who spent six days in jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. The church says she is a “proud, self-righteous hypocrite” and an “adulterer.”
The church and Kim Davis both stand against gay marriage.
A portion of the church’s press release states:
That man that Kim Davis is living with, and calling her husband, IS NOT! Her husband is Dwain Wallace, who she married when she was 18-tears-old. It does not matter how many years you pile on! It was adultery at the beginning, adultery in the middle and it is indeed adultery today!
The church is known for protesting funerals and other notable events, its members holding signs with inflammatory inscriptions such as “God hates fags.”
Davis’ critics zero in on her personal life, wondering how she can take a stand against same-sex marriage when she’s been married four times, including twice to the same man. They argue it’s hard to make a case that you’re standing up for the sanctity of marriage after three divorces.
