"When he was come down from the
mountain, great multitudes followed
him. And, behold, there came a leper and
worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt,
thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put
forth his hand, and touched him, saying,
I will; be thou clean. And immediately his
leprosy was cleansed." (Matthew 8:1-3).
Watch how the leper in our scripture for the
day received his miracle of healing? Among
the multitude were miracle-seeking folks that
followed Jesus at that time so it was not probable
that the leper would be the first to receive the
quickest answer to his request.
Taking a closer look at the scripture, we see
that he first worshiped Jesus before making his
humble request and when Jesus touched him,
his leprosy was cleansed.
His prayer and request seemed very short but he
received very quick results and that is because
he first worshiped God.
We must always go to God through worship and
we will not be denied an answer to our prayers.
I encourage you today to take sometime to
worship God and see what difference it makes.
PRAYER: Father, today I give you all my worship
for I know it is the reason why I live.
I worship you for who you are and will continue
to be in my life.
I declare that nothing shall take away your
worship in Jesus' name.
