Obituary : Cardinal Edward M. Egan of New York Archdiocese dies at 82

Dolan, said in a statement that Cardinal Egan “had a peaceful death, passing away right after lunch” in his home at the Chapel of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Manhattan. He was pronounced dead at NYU Langone Medical Center.
