Pastor Paul Enenche - Conditions For Answered Prayer‬

Every promise of God is tied to mans obedience  , Deuteronomy 28:1-13 , many have prayed and prayed over and over again and yet nothing changes.
But we understand that God never changes , so we there is something we are not doing right that hinders our prayer life.

Pastor Paul Enenche, a great Minister of God from Nigeria disclose this few Conditions for Answered Prayer .

1. Absolute faithfulness to Father God.

To see the faithfulness of the Most High God in your affairs, you must first of all prove your self to be faithful.
Your quality work with God today determines what he can do with you tomorrow .
If God see that giving you millions or billions will reduce your dedication to Him, He won't give it to you.
Jabez in the scripture does not loose focus because of  wealth and riches, but remain committed to God till the end of his Life.

2. You must demonstrate absolute faith and trust in God.
You must not come to a point where the wickedness of the devil or people make you doubt the faithfulness of the Almighty.
Trust that God can still do that  you have been trusting Him for.

Mike Murdock Quotes - Uncommon Treasures Require Your Willingness To Pursue.

Remarkable or exceptional treasures in life requires your readiness to pay the cost, for every good thing in life carries a special price tag.

You can never possess anything you you are not willing to pursue, you must fight  and win before you carry the trophy .

Joshua observed the steps of Moses and disciplined himself to follow the same step, and what happened ? Joshua and Caleb entered the promised land. He became great because he was able to pursue after greatness.

Every record is breakable if you are ready to pay the price. Elisha was not afraid to take the steps of Elijah and did more mightier things than Elijah .

You have read the stories of many giants in the bible, and you have heard of many successful men and woman in life, if you are not afraid of doing what they did, you will as well get to the same destination of greatness.

Make it a habit to pursue after Greatness.
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed,” (Proverbs 13:20).

John Macarthur Devotional - Lawless Christians?

We all sin on way or the other, and we all know it, while it's true that our fallen nature minimizes sin, every one clearly know we don't meet the required standard of perfection . Whether you call them "sins" or you call them "mistakes " we all have to admit to having in one way or the other lied , lashed or even lusted at some points in life.

Now what is the different between the the sins of the unbeliever and the believer ? , when the unbeliever sin its the same as when the believer sin. Read More at by John MacArthur blog

Just because its taking time or that it didn't happen yesterday doesn't mean it can't happen today or anytime soon.

Archbishop Duncan Williams - How to War in the Spirit

Archbishop  Duncan Williams
Archbishop Duncan Williams Sermons

"If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed..."-Esther 3:9

We see in Esther 3:2-9 that there was a plot to exterminate the people of God by legislative decree. We must understand that the natural world is type and shadow of the spiritual world. Just as we people of God have had physical enemies throughout history, we also have had a spiritual enemy since our creation. Just as political legislation has been brought against God's people, so it is in the realms of the spirit. This is why the Bible says Satan accuses us day and night. He is the chief prosecutor against God's people!

- Esther 2:21-23

In it you see the favor that comes to those who reveal the hidden agendas of the wicked, as Esther exposes a plot to kill the king. It goes on to say "it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king."

But Glory be to God, we have a defender in Christ who has never lost a case! Just as God's people were spared in the time of Esther, so we are spared in the present.

Let every attempt to impose demonic legislation in your life be over-ridden by the superior sacrifice of Jesus Christ, by which you are hereby acquitted!

May God use you to prophetically expose the plots of the wicked! I declare that favor will come to you as you operate with Divine knowledge and your exploits will be written in the presence of kings!

What God's Promises Require From Us , by Pastor Steven Furtick

Pastor Steven Furtick

One of our greatest gifts as Christians is the freedom to move on from our past.
God tells us throughout scripture that He wants great things for our lives, and that the greater life found only in Him is ours for the taking.

But, we can’t just sit on the sidelines and wait for it to happen. We have to do something with what we’ve been given. In this clip from our series (This is Your) Permission Slip, Pastor Steven teaches us that when we decide to actively pursue the promises of God, He’ll lead us into the future He’s planned for us.

Understanding Wonders of Kingdom Stewardship 1

Stewardship Definition

( Isaiah 1:19 New International Version If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; New Living Translation If you will only obey me, you will have ...)

Willingness and obedient to what God is saying is your access to the good of the land.
Hearing the word and not doing them equals to self deceit, but obedience to God's word equals wisdom, and wisdom equals blessings.

Your obedience to the word of God convert His promises into a covenant, meaning your obedience have committed God to confirm his  word in your life . Psalm 119:89

Now fruitfulness of all kind is a result of the blessings of God, and one of the way to access His blessings is through kingdom service, going about God's business as a way of life. Luke 2:49

Soul winning is one of the ways you serve God, in fact its the greatest and highest paying kingdom service, for God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son for the restoration of our souls, and as God has sent Jesus even so he Jesus has sent us . John  20:20

May God empower you to key into kingdom service from today in Jesus Name.

Methodist pastor who performed gay son's wedding will appeal his removal from the church

Frank Schaefer
Frank Schaefer this week will be appealing the outcome of last year's trial that stripped him of his lifelong vocation as minister of the United Methodist Church.
The former minister of Lebanon, Pa., was suspended on Nov. 18 for 30 days by a jury of pastors for officiating at the same-sex marriage of his son in Massachusetts. A month later, he was defrocked -- or stripped of his religious credentials -- after refusing to promise to never perform another same-sex marriage.

He immediately said he would challenge the defrocking. Arguments will be heard Friday in Baltimore by the Committee on Appeals for the Northeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church, with a decision expected as early as Saturday.

“We felt very strongly that the penalty -- my defrocking -- was really not in line with the church’s law,” Schaefer told the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday. “What they based the defrocking on was a promise to not perform another gay marriage. You can't punish someone based on something they haven’t done yet. You can't defrock on a promise.”

Schaefer said he continues to devote himself to the Methodist church and would like to continue his life as a minister.
“I devoted my life to this church and I see great potential in this church, except the strong language against homosexuality,” he said. “This is a great church. And I have vowed, even when I was defrocked, that I would fight from within the church.”

He said he hopes that if the decision is in his favor, it will symbolize a greater change in the church. He said the proof of how harmful this outlook on homosexuality is lies in his son, who told Schaefer he considered suicide before coming out to his parents when he was 17 because of the conflict he felt between his religious beliefs and his sexual orientation.
“I was silent for too long,” Schaefer said. “I will not refuse ministry to anybody based on their sexual orientation. We have to stop harming beloved children of God.”

In the six months since his trial and defrocking, Schaefer has become a symbol in the movement to change the United Methodist Church’s policy on homosexuality. He has spoken at more than 50 events, churches and colleges and received several awards, including recognition from the Massachusetts governor and the Pennsylvania Education Assn.
He also wrote a book, “Defrocked,” that will be released this month by Chalice Press. A documentary film, “An Act of Love,” is being made about him -- the crew has been following him around, he said -- and a Philadelphia theater company is working on a play that will reenact his trial.
Roughly 5% of U.S. adults are members of the Methodist Church, making it the largest Protestant denomination, according to the Pew Religion and Public Life Project. The church accepts gay and lesbian members but rejects same-sex marriage and does not allow openly gay clergy and ministers, citing homosexuality as “incompatible with Christian teaching,” according to the United Methodist Church’s official website.
As for his pending appeal and its decision, Schaefer described himself as feeling “cautiously optimistic” that he will be reinstated.
"We will call it a re-frocking," he joked.
He said his optimism stems from several other instances since his trial where clergy and ministers across the country have had charges dropped for issues relating to the church's homosexuality policy.
In March, the trial of the Rev. Thomas Ogletree, a retired dean of the Yale Divinity School, was dropped. Ogletree had presided over his son’s same-sex marriage in New York City in 2012.
In May, complaints against New York Rev. Sara Tweedy, who faced trial for being married to another woman, were also dropped.

Impact Ministries Jim Richards - Change Your Heart

Dr Jim Richards
Today I received a message someone expression their strong opinions about a particular issue. Their message made no reference to scripture .
But it was how they felt. I ignorantly replied explaining that I respected their position and the willingness to stick to what they believed. Then I shared historical facts that refuted their opinion. Scripture that showed them it was good to do what they were doing the way they believed they should but they had no right to judge anyone else. Then I got a long email once again filed with "I feel" and "I think" with no scriptural basis for their position or their desire to judge of others.

I am deeply saddened and concerned about the church. Exalting our opinion over the word of God is idolatry. Judging others is usually more wicked than what they have accused others of doing. In the middle of all this religious talk there seems to be very little love, godliness and kindness. Follow God the way you interpret the Bible, but don't set yourself up as anyone's judge. Read Romans 14 and apply it to your convictions.
Share this with your friends and let's encourage others to a life of love, godliness and non-judgment.

Glenn Burris - Word for the Day

He threw the 30 pieces of silver on the floor and said "I have betrayed innocent blood". The religious leaders told Judas it wasn't their responsibility and then debated among themselves how to spend the betrayal money. Judas left them and took his life.

How incredibly tragic that the leaders were more concerned about a money decision than they were about a life. Jesus exhibited the opposite value. Money was of little value to him but people meant everything. My prayer today is that our values and behaviors would shout hope, love, compassion, and help to the desperate situations around us.

People often make choices that leave them with deep regrets. May the Lord use us to help rescue them and set them on a path of recovery and restoration, instead of being preoccupied with duties that lead more to death than to life.

Dr Paul Enenche - ‎Hinderances to a buoyant prayer life .

pastor paul enenche
1. The life of wrong priorities or vision.
A life of wrong priority and vision is a destroyer of prayer life.
a. It is priority that drives activity (Gen. 19:27, Matt. 6:33)
Until God is first in our lives, prayer can never be a priority. Priority drives activity.
b. It is vision that determines motion or drive (Hab. 2:1-2)
Your overall vision for life determines the motion/action of your life.
Money and whatever else we are to pursue should be given their proper places.

Lysa Terkeurst - Understanding the Power of Humility

Lysa Terkeurst

"In the heat of a mess, the last thing I want to do is get humble. I want to get loud and prove my point. But I’ve learned I have to step out of the battle and humbly ask God to speak truth to my heart for things to start to make sense.
Never have I had a relationship issue where I didn’t contribute at least something to the problem. Usually, I can only see this something when I spend quiet time with God.”

Seven Ways to Become An Indispensable Youth Leader

"It has been said that “nobody is indispensable” and, to a degree, that is a true statement. But I can tell you that, as a former pastor and current leader of a youth ministry organization (with 20+ employees), there are certain staff losses that hit the church or ministry harder than others. Losing these kinds of employees leaves a bigger hole in the ministry because they have made themselves more and more indispensable through working harder, smarter and longer." - Greg Stier
