Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Isa 46:10-11
God is a God Who declares the end from the beginning. The Word of God is history that has been written in advance. Therefore you must understand, beloved, that God knows your end from the beginning. In life, when it looks like God is not there, it is because He is sure of how the end will be. When you find yourself passing through challenges and wondering to yourself, ‘Is God here?’ It is because He knows that the end is alright. When you are in the middle of a battle or challenge and you are praying and wondering, ‘Where is God?’ and it doesn’t look like He is around, it is because He knows that your victory at the end is guaranteed.
Have you ever seen a wrestling match where two people were fighting and one of the fighters was big and the other one was small (like David and Goliath)? The big fighter that looked like ‘Goliath’ seemed to be beating the smaller person (the one you like) so much that you felt like he was going to kill him. And you were watching and wished that ‘your man’ should not be beaten. But at the end, he won. You jubilated and were excited. Initially, you were wondering if he was going to be killed but at the end you jubilated. The next time you see this scene again, even when they are beating him, you will be relaxed because you know that you have seen that scene before.
God has seen ‘the film’ of your life before. He declares the end from the beginning. He saw you in the womb of your mother before you came into this world. He is the Alpha and the Omega and everything in between. Therefore, have faith and believe in Him because He knows that the end is alright.
Remember this: God knows your end from the beginning.
1. Relax, God is in control.
2. Hand over all your life’s challenges to God in prayer.
